What you can expect from your Everymind Hypnotherapy Session
What your initial consultation involves
We begin by gathering some basic information from you and find out what you want to achieve by coming along for hypnotherapy, we then look at an easy to understand explanation of how your brain works in relation to the problem you are facing and what we can do to help. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions then we will discuss how you would like to proceed. I often suggest that you go away and think about if you want to book sessions in so you don’t feel pressured to book in there and then, this also gives you an opportunity to think about if this is the right type of therapy for you.
Our hynotherapy sessions are designed to provide you with positive outcomes and not to dwell on the past. After all, you can't change the past, but as they say, the future is yet to be written. All of our sessions centre on solutions focused hypnotherapy.
We will talk informally about your expected outcomes in a relaxed and friendly environment.
We will then use hypnotherapy to encourage you into a relaxed trance during which we will access your subconscious to discuss your positive outcomes.
Solutions-focused hypnotherapy does not require you to relive traumatic experiences, or dwell on your fears and anxieties; rather it reinforces positive behaviour and thinking to deconstruct the root causes of your issue.
During future sessions your goals and the positive solutions we offer will be reinforced to enable you to achieve your desired outcome.
